Are you in the Chicago area? If so, founders Maggie Smith and Nicole Washington have created Nimas Float & Spa, which is located in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Nimas Float & Spa is one of the first spa and wellness centers in the South Chicagoland Suburbs to integrate Float Therapy and Hydraworks Facial System to help clients find relaxation, alleviate pain, improve muscle tension, relieve stress and anxiety, gain mental clarity and the list goes on and on! In addition to their signature Hydraworks Facial System, the luxury spa offers the following services: acupuncture, hot stone massages, hydra microdermabrasion, oxygen infused therapy, detox body wrap, sports recovery massage, chemical peels and so much more.

Nimas Float & Spa’s float room consist of approximately 1100 pounds of pharmaceutical grade Epsom salt that is dissolved. Salinity is reached at 1.37 grams per cubic centimeter. The solution is high in salinity; therefore no living microorganism can survive within the tank. After each session, the entire volume of the solution is pumped out and filtered through a three part filtration and sterilization system utilizing Ultra Violet (UV) light and H2O2.  Its float room is highly recommended for people experiencing chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, and insomnia.

“Nimas Float & Spa is one of two spas in the south suburbs to offer Hydraworks Facial System” says Nicole Washington, co-founder of Nimas Float & Spa. “Our Signature Royal Facial incorporates our Hydraworks Facial System that delivers long-term skin health. This treatment removes dead skin cells with a water micro-dermabrasion treatment that is less abrasive than the common diamond treatment and extracts impurities while bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums all in one.”
