Jamie Miller: CEO, The 518 Group

Jamie Nicole Miller, a Pageland, SC native is the owner and Founder of The 518 Group, a Brand Management and Marketing Agency based in Charlotte, NC. Jamie is a 2007 graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

After receiving her Marketing degree she relocated to Greenville, SC to take a sales & marketing position as an On-Premise Spirits Representative with a distribution company. In this corporate position, she worked with a number of key accounts managing spirit placement, development, distribution and beverage sales along with executing promotional marketing events. In just two short years, Jamie felt that her creativity and room for growth became stifling and decided it was time to grow more outside of the company and in 2012 she relocated back to Charlotte, NC to begin her journey as an Entrepreneur.

With over 10 plus years of experience in Marketing, she has had the opportunity to work with top brands and clientele, along with solidifying a great reputation as a Marketing Professional.

Currently residing in Pageland, SC, she is heavily involved in her community working with youth through her non-profit PROJECT FIRST, INC.

Sidney O. Minter is an Associate in the Raleigh, North Carolina, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. During his career, he has exclusively represented management in a wide range of industries. Mr. Minter has litigated matters relating to wage and hour law, workplace safety law, and workers’ compensation. His bread-and-butter, however, is handling complex matters arising under Title VII.

Mr. Minter also partners with his clients to provide sound day-to-day advice regarding a myriad of issues, including terminations, RIFs, hiring, and leaves of absence. Mr. Minter is also adept at reviewing and drafting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
