Putting your Best Face Forward with Get Radiant

Written by Erin Davis

Imagine being a 13-year-old teen with a full acne blowout on what you would consider being the most important night of your life. Now take that same acne-filled face and place it on a 25-year-old, 36-year-old, or even older. Adult acne is something that many suffer from, and finding the proper regimen or right product to minimize or stop it can be a difficult and stressful journey. Abreea Ahmed, an adult acne sufferer, had all that in mind when creating Get Radiant. Having a medical background, Abreea is on a mission to revolutionize the acne care category by providing derm-approved products that makes it easy to achieve clear skin without causing more breakouts with an all-natural, vegan and cruelty free solution, Get Radiant!

Erin: What makes Get Radiant different from other acne solutions on the market?

Abreea: That's a great question!

Most acne products on the market are super harsh and make the skin super dry. So when the skin is dehydrated, it causes over secretion of sebum, leading to more acne. So in this way those products actually keep you stuck in the vicious acne cycle.

Now, when you compare Get Radiant's product - Beat (Z)it with them – our product targets all the causes of acne while hydrating the skin, so the skin never becomes dehydrated, and THIS makes it easier to escape the vicious acne cycle, and get rid of them pesky zits for good.

Erin: How have you addressed assisting people of color with treating acne differently, especially with dark spots?

Abreea: While we don't have a product (yet) to deal with post-acne hyperpigmentation that's super common in people of color but, that's definitely in the works - and we'll be releasing it soon. Stay tuned!

Erin: Understanding you dealt with acne for some time, how long did it take for you to perfect Get Radiant?

Abreea: It took me almost six months to perfect the formulation. And the end result is a fantastic 'one and done' solution to your acne woes!

Erin: Do you find there is a specific regimen one should follow to get the best outcome?

Abreea: Skincare regimens usually differ with skin type – however, if you stick with a simple regimen that involves a pH balancing cleanser, actives serum (Beat (Z)it), and moisturizer, you can easily see great results.

Erin: What encouraging words would you say to other entrepreneurs?

Abreea: It gets easier with time, so keep following your dream!
